[...] the top of search suggest is far to easy for accidental clicks in my view although Google are also testing showing ads at the bottom which would seem better. [...]

Well, something changed there. Currently they are using adbrite ads under the voting bar. Maybe Google warned them (?) :) . I saw one case long time ago when man received an email from Google where he was asked to remove some ads because they were breaking adsense's TOS.

True, only the ad title on search network adverts is clickable.

Both title and description are clickable on content ads like the above though...

This is interesting, guys. In Google's defence, although they don't seem to regulate the placement of content network ads particularly well, they did take that bold and very selfless (Google??!!) step of shrinking the clickable area within the top banner sponsored search results on their SERPs. Remember? The top banner used to be blue and the entire area was clickable? Now it's yellow and only the actual ad itself is clickable (not the area around them). So I think Google does ok on this issue, and they may well address the issue of content ad placement soon.....

[...] The other day i read a great post on PPC Blog, about Hot or Not and how close the adsense adverts are to the rating system. Which brings up the question how many people click on the ads by accident? [...]
