It’s catch up time as I have been away for the past week. Lots of ppc news around as always and I will round up the most significant or interesting issues in a couple of posts.

Kick starting with a rather strange decision by Google to exclude Canadians from taking the GAP exam as discussed over at the SEW Forums. The full list of participating countries can be seen here.

Now you would think if Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Rwanda are able to take part in the Google Advertising Professional Progamme, Canada would of been included?. It seems not.

Check out the thoughts of a couple of Canadian Adwords experts in Jensense and Andrew Goodman. They both seem to be somewhat (justifiably) mystified as to why Canada has been excluded.

What sort of politics are involved here? Come on Google, speak up.
