Graphic SEO seems to be right on this one. Checked Wezley's link but noticed that the posts on that page have disappeared again ;)

Very interesting observation
google realigning it’s assesment of the page as bloggers could be using this quick indexing phenomenon for spam purposes

I disagree with Graphic SEO in regards to this particular issue. I have tested this on my own blog and noticed your blog has the same issue mine did. I think this will fix your problem:

The reason that this happens is because google has 2 different indexing techniques the first is that it indexes fresh content and places it immediately. After a few days that content is no longer fresh and thus it must wait to be crawled and indexed by the same spiders that crawl regular web pages. You can see what index you are in by simply looking underneath of your search result. If it has a cache link then you have been crawled by a regular spider, if not then you have Been crawled by a fresh content spider.

I've noticed the same thing. To get blog posts in the index make sure each post is linked from at least one other page and it should show up assuming it is original content.

could this also be caused by slow indexing on google's end? i have a blogger blog, and once i typed over 50 posts, blogger automatically submitted a second sitemap of my feed. It didn't happen immediately, but I started noticing just this past week (at over 70 posts) the posts i did for the past week have yet to show in google's blog search. they were there after submitting the initial post but the day after they were gone from blog search, but still in the web search.

Very interesting observation. I haven't seen that here in our corner of the U.S. I just checked on a couple of my blog posts from last year and they are still coming up number 1.

This is very interesting and I think that it is Google's way of providing relevant content by checking the date but then realigning it's assesment of the page as bloggers could be using this quick indexing phenomenon for spam purposes.
